The Democratic League of Kosovo through a communique for the media has reacted after the news that the Serbian List has emerged from the ruling coalition.
The Serbian List's “leaving the ruling coalition confirms remarks we have made on the occasion of establishing the Government, when its vote was delayed until Serb List deputies arrived from Belgrade. No Kosovo government can be stable, when the simple majority of 61 votes in the Assembly depend on the deputies of the Serbian List, who, unfortunately, have become an instrument of Belgrade and do not behave as representatives of the interests of Kosovo citizens, of whom <x1 was voted, the LDK statement said.
In this newly created state, the LDK guarantees citizens that its actions will be measured and, as always, in line with the national interest of Kosovo. The LDK, in no case, will allow Serb List deputies to determine Kosovo's political destiny.
The stances of the LDK leadership, even in the coming days, will benefit from improving the situation and returning it in favour of Kosovo”, the LDK statement said.
