Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj said this is a temporary decision that preserves the functionality of the COST network.
“COMM The STT has demanded that at the Government's decision be divided means to many of the 1m euros for covering electricity supply expenditures in northern Kosovo municipalities. We are awaiting closure of the agreement on planning and registration of operators in the north and the start of payments by citizens in the north”, the prime minister has indicated.
He said numerous deviations have occurred, including network shortages, and COST is at risk for exclusion.
We are forced to intervene. It's a temporary decision, but as such, it maintains our functionality, our KOSST network, and it enables us to remain on the table, to gain our right as operators at Europe's transmission operators network. But not only that, but the right to the market, above the overall market in Kosovo”, Haradinaj said.
The government has also approved the proposal for exploitation for public property purposes identified in Prizren, for the establishment of an innovative and German-Kosovo training park for 99 years.
Prime Minister Haradinaj said this is good news for the country's economy.
“The parcel given to public use of Kosovo-German innovation park for 99 years. I believe this is a multidimensional action. With many good orders for economic development. Today is good economic news for the country”, he said.
