Erdogan: Manbiji to be attacked by Turkey despite American soldiers' presence

Turkey's Recep Tayip Erdogan has said he has sent the message to Russia's President Vladimir Putin and the US President Donald Trump that “Turkey will not withdraw from Syria,” warning that military operation in Africa should be extended to other parts of the country, including Manbiy. “Last evening [...]
I talked to the President of the United States about the matter. I discussed the same thing with Putin two days ago. I told you two we wouldn't step back. We are on the side of the sufferings and the oppressed,” said Erdogan in a rally of his Justice and Development Party, reports “Hurriyet”, the Periscopi broadcast.
Erdogan and Trump have spoken over relations between the two states by telephone on 22 March, especially in the disputes they have regarding the People's Protection Unit (YPG).
The YPG government considers it a terrorist organisation that co-operates with the Kurdish Labour Party (PKK).
Turkey's military in coalition with the Army of Free Syrian (FSA) has launched an operation coded “Krahs of the Oliver” in the fight against The YPG in Africa on January 20th, where Erdogan said the operation would not end in Africa. The next step is Idlie and Manbiji. ”
Manbiy, a northwestern Syrian city, is especially important since it is still under the control of the YPG along with US troops.
Turkey has long urged the United States to allow the YPG to withdraw from Manbij to the east of the Euphrates amid threats that it will not hesitate to launch an attack on YPG positions even if American troops are present./Periscopi/
