About 30 exiles yesterday afternoon had taken to the streets from Germany to visit Kosovo. But there were problems along the way. A spark inside the bus caused the entire bus to be involved in flames. According to travelers, there are also injuries among them. The event occurred at 3:30 after midnight at the border between Croatia and Serbia. Travelers are currently staying at Red Cross facilities in Croatia.
A small spark has caused the bus of the company Deva Tours '% from Gjakova to be swept by the midnight fires of Sunday on the border between Croatia and Serbia. Within the bus at the critical moment were 29 travelers who had traveled from Germany to come to Kosovo. Some people have been injured in panic to get off the bus. That's what one guy on the bus told Express.
The driver was hurt, he wanted to break the window to get us off the bus. There are other wounded travelers. At the moment we are standing in Red Cross environments here in Croatia”, said a traveler who had left Germany for Kosovo.
Of the fires and destruction of the bus, all travelers have spent the night in Croatia.
The Express newspaper spoke to officials from the bus tour company Deva Tours. They have said that travellers are well and that very soon they are expected to return to Kosovo.
There's a problem. We're dealing with them. A spark has caused the bus to be engulfed in flames. Travelers are staying in a hotel. 29 passengers were on the bus. Soon the next bus will take them”, said one of the company's supervisors.
Meanwhile, the accident has resulted in injuries, according to travelers. They say all their luggage is left inside the bus and burned.
