In addition to world historical twists and bloody pasts from the recent war in Kosovo, Kosovo students teach in school even Kosovo's independence, now the Republic.

Generations that follow lessons in elementary and high schools this year are born after the 1999 war and document Kosovo's 10th anniversary of independence.

KA LLXO.com has drawn some of what is described in elementary and high school history books concerning Kosovo's declaration of independence.

Kosovo's primary students face this new story in fifth and ninth grade books, while it also faces 10th graders depending on the management of high schools.

“Kosovo's Declaration of Independence is a joint victory and the credit of all Albanian, all political forces committed to the efforts to free Kosovo, without having here the contribution of the Albanian diaspora”, says the ninth grade history book.

On the other hand, students in the fifth grade read optmistic texts regarding life after Kosovo's declaration of independence.

Kosovo's “With independence opened up new opportunities for the development and progress of the people in all areas of life”, says the fifth grade book.

For this year's Jubilar to celebrate independence, there is no general state plan for how to celebrate at schools.

Minister of Education, Science and Technology, Fatmir Bytyqi, told KALLXO.com that preparations for manifestation at schools have been placed in charge of the Communist Education Directors.

On the other hand, only a few of Kosovo's main municipalities' DKA have told of KALLXO.com the festive plan for schools.

Mitrovica Education Director Isti Beka told about the holiday plan in his municipality.

“On the part of the DKA will be organised educational educational software and activities, starting with “Quizset of wisdom”, “Also, Friday's first hour, 16,02.2018, will be dedicated to “17 February”, Beka said.

Also, the Minister of Education Task in Gjilan, Majlinda Hoxha, said an hour of student classes would be dedicated to legalisation for Kosovo independence.
