Thousands of people have protested in central Ukrainian capital, demanding President Petro Poroshenko's resignation.
Today's march in Kiev is organised by opposition politician Mikhail Saakashvili's party.
Participants have protested from Shevchenko Park to European Square, carrying Ukrainian flags and slogans calling on “Resign” and “Ukraine without oligarchs”
The organisers of the “Marsor for the future” have said this protest marks the start of a campaign demanding the president's resignation.
Some 2,000 law enforcement officials have been on duty in this protest.
No incidents have been reported so far.
Saakashvili has been president of Georgia from 2004 to 2013.
He has resigned from Georgian passports in 2015 and has accepted Ukrainian citizenship to assume the post of governor of Odessa at Poroshenko's request.
Saakashivili has resigned from his post in Odessa in November 2016, accusing the government of destroying his efforts to fight corruption and carry out reforms and has since become an opponent of the Ukrainian president. (REL)
