Finance Minister Bedri Hamza is on an official visit to Slovenia, where he is hosted at the meeting by Slovenian Finance Minister Mateja Vraničar Erman, where they discussed the current co-operation between the two countries, with particular emphasis on inter-ministerial co-operation, announces the statement from the MF.
Hamza announced his Slovenian counterpart for progress and achieved in all areas in Kosovo, in particular the area of finance, as well as fiscal reforms that have been undertaken recently by the Finance Ministry to support the private sector as the bearer of economic development in the country.
Hamza called for support of Slovenia's Ministry of Finance in preparing legal and administrative infrastructure, information technology, for launching greater reform in Kosovo so far, which is carrying TV S from the border to the inside of the country.
While Slovenia's Finance Minister Mateja Vraničar Erman, thanking the minister for the visit, praised the excellent relations between the two countries, and indicated that Kosovo and Slovenia have no open topic in the area of finance.
It also expressed the willingness of Slovenia's Ministry of Finance to support Kosovo, in the best implementation of VAT reform, which Slovenia has begun to implement in June 2016.
According to her, this reform benefits Kosovo's businesses and economic development. Therefore, given the importance of this reform, Slovenia's Finance Ministry will support you”, Erman announced.
