One of the most noisy people in regard to the abolition of the Special Court, Nasim Haradinaj, has found the country's leaders' stances to be meaningless. The vice president of OVL, who once did not hesitate to call the American ambassador a clown, unless the latter called for an attempt to abolish the Special, is expecting MPs to finish this initiative.
Initially Kadri Wessel, then Ramush Haradinaj and recently President Thaci decided to step down from the drama that started on December 22nd. But those who once started a petition with the reasoning that only the amendment of the Special Law was required and once demanded complete abolition of it, consider the new position of leaders meaningless.
Nasim Haradinaj, deputy chairman of the KLA OVL organisation, says the organisation of war veterans has done all the work that, according to them, is right.
For us, it's pointless of these politicians who in the first word once say it's bad, which is bad, and then they say otherwise, we can't understand then how they're going to vote it”, he told Express.
He expects MPs to stand behind their signature and vote properly. They agree that their goal was to send this initiative to the Assembly.
We've done all the work that we've done to them, I think it's in procedure and we see the procedures. We still hope that we will have literal deputies of the people, I hope I can be innocent in the sense that someone has not been able to threaten either in the form of economic corruption or in their guiltyness what they have and I hope MPs will be free for their vote and I hope they will vote the right way”, he added.
But Haradinaj says their organisation does not feel betrayed because, according to him, there is still no decision on this. Let it be realized that they would feel if its abolition did not occur.
In Kosovo, war veterans of Kosovo h - The KLA started signing a petition by which it urged Kosovo's Parliament to change the Law for Special War Crimes in Kosovo. But later they demanded its abolition.
Procedures about the operation of the Special Court have already ended and the Court is ready to start work.
