Edi Rama's reaction following Demarcation Agreement between Kosovo and Montenegro

The Kosovo and Montenegro Agreement on the borderline issue has been called good news by Albania. Prime Minister Edi Rama has called the decision positive and has encouraged Kosovo representatives to vote on demarcation as soon as possible. “So, to prove the seriousness and dedication of the state of Kosovo in the international arena as a state that knows to honour the” agreements, he has said.
Otherwise, at a media conference, Kosovo President Hashim Thaci has announced the agreement signed with Montenegrin Prime Minister Dusko Markovic. He disclosed the signed provisions, part of the agreement with Montenegro, which is already expected to proceed to the Kosovo Assembly for ratification.
Through this statement, the two presidents have called on MPs to vote on the agreement signed between the two countries in August 2015. Thaci had signed this agreement as deputy prime minister and minister of Kosovo's foreign affairs.
Meanwhile, on the eve of Kosovo's 10th anniversary of Independence, President Thaci said this is the best gift for this anniversary.
