Kosovo Parliament Speaker Kadri Veselini has hosted the US Ambassador to Pristina, Greg Delawi, to discuss recent political developments in the country, with particular emphasis on tomorrow's plenary session where the Agreement on Border Mark between Kosovo and Montenegro is expected to be ratified.
Chief Parliamentary Veselini has informed US Ambassador of the meetings and consensus reached between political subjects of office and a part of the opposition to ratify the Border Mark Agreement.
Wessel voiced optimism that the agreement, which would pave the way for the visa-free movement of Kosovo citizens in the Schengen Zone, will be approved at Wednesday's session.
Chief Parliamentary Veselin and Ambassador Delaway agreed that it is the last moment for Kosovo to ratify this agreement to take the necessary visa-free deadlines this year.
The American ambassador has praised the role of Prime Minister Wessel in finding consensus within the political spectrum, while reconfirming US support for the Republic of Kosovo in all areas.
