According to UNMIK's statement Tanin refers to UN Resolution 1244, through which the responsibility is given to the international security presence, the Kosovo Force (KFOR), for maintaining the safe and secure environment in Kosovo.
This resolution continues to provide the only legal framework for the existing international security presence.”, the statement said.
P The SSP encourages all sides to refrain from actions that could increase tensions and that all issues be addressed through political dialogue.
