The Ukraine Parliament has approved the abolition of the Friendship, Co-operation and Partnership Agreement signed between Ukraine and Russia.
The bill brought to parliament for concluding the deal on the part of Ukraine's president, Petro Porosenko, was approved by 277 votes, with a total of 331 deputies, broadcast KTV.
Thus, the friendship agreement between the two countries, starting on April 1st 2019, will be considered invalid.
Otherwise, President Poroshenko had signed the decision to conclude the agreement in question on February 17th. Under this agreement, the two states were considered strategic partners.
