The explosion of a bomb near the pyramids in Egypt killed two Vietnamese tourists and 12 others were injured, Egypt's Interior Ministry reported.
Tourists were traveling by bus when the bomb mounted at the end of the road exploded.
This is the first attack targeting tourists in the last two years. Egypt is fighting militant Islamic groups now and many years, the AP reports.
The attack occurs after Egypt's tourism industry shows signs of recovery after several years due to political unrest and violence following the 2011 uprising that ousted former leader Hosni Mubarak.
