MKRS officially recognises volunteer work for young people

Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Kujtim Gashi, during an event organised by the Kosovo Youth Assembly “Njihu with the volunteers of”, announced that for the first time, MKRS has officially decided to recognise all the work of volunteers.
The purpose of this organism was to present the work done during 2018 on the part of volunteers along with the activities of partner organizations through presentations on the divided angle to promote their volunteer work. Minister Gashi said MKRS, U NICEF has established a basic date that will help young people do volunteer work. “For the first time in Kosovo we have certified volunteers, and it is a fact that the sorrow of young people who have had when they applied for work have been requested through this base date we have achieved that volunteer work is known as a work experience”, he said.

Minister Gashi said the MKRS is in the finalisation of the youth strategy, which fits the demands of young people, where for the first time it will be a youth fund and set apart a budget for all organisations performing volunteer work. “Success and results are on young people. The power of a state is youth”, he said.
While Kastriot Luma, chairman of the Youth Assembly, said the goal of the KPC is to prepare young people for the challenges they will experience during their lifetime. Our aim is to prepare young people for the challenges they will face during their lifetime and to prepare them for decision-making. All of this worked together. Today we need an idealistic youth whose grief is the future of our state”, he said.
