In “Express Intervisten”, Selmani has stated that the Government has no vision of the doctors' salary increases, stresses that the situation is alarming.

He has also said that the government has not kept any promises, and doctors are deceived.

We've been dialogueing with government incidents for about a year, by the minister and even by the MPs. We've gathered the activity around institutions, and with the Law on Salaries we've been waiting to fix the problems we've had, and that hasn't happened. Tomorrow we'll have the meeting and we'll decide how we're going to move on, I wish the politicians were alarmed because the situation is serious. We actually realized that there is no state vision of how wages will grow. The promise had been that the increase would take place in January, and on February 1st, we will receive the salaries with increased growth. We have found that the law on wages by 2020 can start implementation. We've also been deceived, the frustration is huge, and according to the law it seems that there will be an increase in wages”, Selmani said.

He says they have proposed that experienced nurses get the professional title.

We have proposed that each nurse with more than ten years of work experience get a professional title. We've proposed a different rank. The Parliamentary Commission on Health has accepted our proposal. No longer has time to be approved and let it be implemented. Our demand is to implement wage growth from January”, he has said.

Selmani has confirmed that the meeting is at the national level and that decisions will be made, as concerns are great.

Perhaps there will be requirements that will be violated even the laws. We've really been looking for the understanding of patients, trying to keep the patient and services from missing, but in concrete cases we're also fighting for quality growth and that's good for the population”, he added.

Selmani has warned that there may be escalation of the situation if doctors' demands are not met.

If the government doesn't reflect our demands, we'll manifest in all forms allowed by law, but we'll probably escort it to radical measures and the state trembles. Since more instigation can be involved and unrest can be involved. We have demands that the emergency stop. Governments should be alarmed because if that happens then the situation is very serious”, Selmani said.

He has added that the only way is to restore dignity for their doctors and prosperity.

“We know the legal consequences, and given the conditions we are working on and not only are we physically endangered but we are also vulnerable to professional offenses because of our improvisements. Our height still has no protocols, and we still work on what we've seen. Waiting isn't small, it's over a year. Even the entrance to the strike has always been due to the patient's service. We've considered that someone suffers if we go on strike. It has come to an end of the fraud of our government, we have exhausted the whole dialogue with our demands”, he said.

If we compare with the region he says we have too many shortcomings for nurses as well,

We're overloaded with work. We have 13 thousand employees, maybe with that private one about 14,000 employees. In Montenegro it is over 1500 euros for a doctor specialist. And a doctor with a doctor has 650 euros. And a driver there has our salary. The ministry has responded positively by supporting our demands, and we expect that there will be positive response”, he has said.
