Krasniqi: Shpend Limaj's Fatmir Ahmeti to go along with Thaci to Brussels

In KTV's interactive, he has said Kosovo in the dialogue will have Thaci's joint representation as president, team and two co-chairmen who have been approved last Saturday in the Kosovo Assembly.

He has said that forming the Negotiator Team is good news for Kosovo, but has said it would be better if the two other opposition parties, the VV's LDK, were there.

“We have been discussing for months for a Parliament resolution that would, above all, give the central role of the Parliament in the dialogue. Not only in the end is it guaranteed to the Constitution but from the beginning. It's good to be this team. There is a co-ordination from Limaj and Ahmeti, from the government and the opposition, with the participation of other opposition representatives of communities, so that representation will be as unified and co-ordination with institutional leaders as better than it was so far”, Krasniqi has said, adding that it would be good to start the dialogue process early. “We have a state delegation that has full competencies to lead talks with Serbia, but normally, since much has been discussed, in no way means that the positions of constitutional institutions, such as the president, prime minister and prime minister, will not be part of the dialogue. Their commitments will continue starting with the president who has been a host of dialogue so far”.

Krasniqi has also said that the president's role in the dialogue has been appointed so far through internationals, while, according to him, Kosovo will now have the option “and, as well,”.

The president will definitely be part of the dialogue because ultimately based on the UN General Assembly resolution that has enabled the dialogue, the UN has authorized or commissioned the EU, and through the resolution the representative for foreign affairs was Ashton, now Moghrin, to be mediators. By means of it, the mediators have been given the ability to communicate and determine the level of dialogue. So far it was on the level of presidents, but it doesn't change as far as Kosovo is concerned, because we will not only be represented as it is said, or, but also, even. According to Krasniqi, no one will go after anyone, but everyone will be together. He has added that internationals are now clear that Kosovo is ready for dialogue. The PDK GP chief has said he sees the demarcation process as the final part of the deal. It has added that there must be a solution to the find, the damage to war, financial compensation for many issues for Kosovars in the 1990s, and the status of the Serbian Orthodox Church.

Krasniqi has also said Trump's letter has proved that it is only a short period of time to use for dialogue. He called his letter a correct attitude.

I don't think we should prejudge the end of the dialogue. My personal opinion is that it will be extremely difficult to reach agreement. Timespace is very limited because of elections expected to be held in the EU after several months. Clearly, what Trump says about our partners for months is that there is a little window of time that we can use if a deal can be reached. The trumpet on paper says balanced solutions and I think it's a correct attitude not to look like a side take. We've already found a balanced solution, through various processes from Vienna to Brussels”, he added.

Krasniqi has further talked about the opposition's call for elections. He said this isn't serious.

The loss of elections requires elections tomorrow to test the outcome. It's not a serious request because I think they'd have initiated a very controversial motion for four months. We have also heard their positions when they said that one time it was a mess so that even with the votes of the Serbian List, we could tear down the government, and now when they were offered by the Serbian List, we would have the vote for confidence in the Assembly on Friday. I believe that neither party wants elections even because of the internal contexts each party has”, he said.
