The Health Ministry has expressed its position on today's strike of health professionals, saying it remains committed to working together to overcome this situation so that patients cannot be harmed.
A media communiqué says that the MSH has worked together with the FSSH to address the requirements for salary increases at the level that health professionals deserve, arguing why health workers should be treated dignifiedly.
The woman stands behind these requests and arguments presented in Government and the Bill on Salaries and believes that the answer will be positive on the part of the Government and the Assembly, in order for the health system to be given impetus in its reform and health professionals to be given the country's rightful within this system.
By contrast, the health workers of the University Clinical Centre of Kosovo today have entered a 24-hour strike, which is demanding a raise of salaries for doctors and technical workers in this sector.
In addition, health workers are also seeking respect for collective sectoral contract. on strike today has entered alone QKUK, but if it does not meet their demands, health workers warn there may be even more radical unionist measures.
For measures to be taken further, the FSK will hold on December 20th the Steering Council meeting, where even other hospital centres will be introduced on strike.
The Emergency Clinic at CKUK has also entered the strike, yet health services are being offered only for life - threatening situations.
Numerous citizens at other QKUK clinics have been unable to receive health services.
