Former “WikiLeaks”, Julian Assange can leave the Ecuador Embassy in London with no risk of life or freedom, according to the government of this South American country. Ecuador has said Britain has provided “gart” for the removal of Assange from its embassy.
The British government has informed us that by law, he cannot be extradited to a country where his life is in danger or where he can face the death penalty”, said the president of the team, Lenin Moreno.
The path to Assang to leave the embassy has now been opened. He would have to face a short trial for avoiding British authorities. It won't be long”, Moreno said.
Ecuador has spent more than six years trying to end Assange asylum at its embassy in London.
