Thus, 23 families in this area have lived without light. Some of them left and completed six families in the village. These inhabitants have lived without light for nearly 7 years.
Medge Masha says: "Only with candles, flashlights, with wood on fire, I would go out at night to fear the animals of the forest. I've seen the bear twice. When the pot got tied up, I started crying. I could not believe it, and I lost my tears. I used to call Tirana and ask them what time is it? What's the date?
The lack of electricity for 7 years kept the residents of the Derje away from actuality. The whole village had only one radio, and the one teaching the most was Medge Alasan. As the village ladies did their chores as soon as the sun rose and had to finish them before sunset.
“We have three years now that we've put on that solar panel and for light we have and to charge a”, Alsan said.
O SHEE, on the eve of New Year's Eve, made possible the power supply in the village of Derje.
