His journey, Colin O'Brady, has ended in 53 days, and so has British Army captain 49-year-old Louis Rudd, after an epic ice race, writes BBC.

Colin O'Brady
The race between them had begun on November 3rd, while the journey they planned to complete had left a former British soldier drowned two years ago.
They crossed 1462 miles [ 1482 km] of roads in extreme conditions to cross the world's worst cold continent, Antarctica.
“I'm tired, crushed, but despite this I'm writing progress every day”, he said on December 20th, as he was spending his 47th day across Antarctica.
He had expressed gratitude to the god who had escaped without breaking any legs that could not complete the race.
“I pulled a sleigh nearly 170kg per 12-13 hours a day through the coldest place in the world”, he said, as he added that he had lost so much weight that he had lost his watch, even says he was afraid to see his body.

Race Through Ice
Their race had started with a few days late because of very bad weather.
They had first met at a hotel in Chile and had agreed that the race between them would continue alone, without anyone's help in Antarctica.
Both racers had interesting pastes. In 2008 O'Brady had suffered severe burns of 25 percent of his body during a Thailand festival, and doctors had told him that he could never walk again.
In addition to being healed, he had managed to climb the world's seven highest peaks.
On the other hand, Rudd was the father of three children and had asked permission to be released from the Army to make this adventure.

Louis Rud
He was inspired for this adventure after his colleague's death, Henry Wriessely, on the same path.

Throughout his journey, Rudi had carried the flag of Wolsely.
On the other hand, there are several days that blocked Antarctica has remained two Kosovars, Arainin Nikqi and his daughter Mrika, who had successfully conquered the highest peak of the ice continent, Mount Vince 4892 Imb, along with the CTSSS expedition team, following long walks and crashing into extreme weather, arrived at the main camp./ P ERISCOPIA
