Pakistan's Telecommunications Authority said it has asked Twitter to suspend the account of cleric Khadim Hussain Rizvi, after his Tehreek-e-Labbyk party has blocked roads last week and threatened judges of the Supreme Court who released Asia Bibin on October 31st.
The Telecommunications Authority said Rizvi has pushed “hatred and violence”.
Twitter still did not comment on the case.
The Supreme Court in Pakistan said there wasn't enough evidence against Bebe and released him.
She was arrested and sentenced to death in 2010 for blasphemy.
It has been said that Bebe during a quarrel with some neighboring women has made offensive comments about Prophet Muhammad.
Its release triggered violent protests by the Muslim community in Pakistan.
Authorities also filed criminal cases against hundreds of protesters and protest organisers.
