The country's president, Hashim Thaci, has spoken from Dubai, where he has closely attended the works of the INTERPOL General Assembly, where Kosovo failed to be part of this organisation.
Kosovo has only wanted to be part of the contribution of peace, stability, the global fight against corruption, organised crime, terrorism, cyber war and many other negative phenomena, but unfortunately this was wrongly denied to Kosovo”
Thaci has also said that Kosovo and Serbia should not block each other on Euro-Atlantic travel, Kosovo reports.
“at the same time, in addition to internal developments, I want to clarify once again all the opinion in Kosovo, that definitely Kosovo and Serbia instead of hindering each other, instead of making obstacles for each other in our Euro-Atlantic journey, we have to reach the final agreement, once and for all, that normalisation, which means quick European movements for both countries otherwise we will pay the price of both”.
The future path must be the complete normalisation of the reports with Kosovo and Serbia a permanent agreement”.
The country's first one has said that Kosovo has met all the criteria for membership in INTERPOL, adding that therefore there is no need for lobby.
I don't really trust lobbies what people think there should be. I trust the determination and support of states that have recognised Kosovo and what Kosovo has deserved and fulfilled all criteria”.
Kosovo didn't need much to lobe, when you know, in lobbieing that someone thinks should happen, but we have to work even harder in the future, but this time Kosovo has met all criteria and standards”.
