Naser Rugova has lied publicly when he is justified in his absence, for voting the resolution that would prohibit Thaci's negotiations with Serbia.
He had said he was at Hungary's embassy for a visa term, in the meantime the embassy on 1 November has not worked.
Insider reporter has called the Hungarian Embassy in the quality of a visa applicant, asking for clarification if the embassy has worked on November 1st.
They have said the embassy has refused on November 1st. Meanwhile, in a report published on their website, they confirm that Ambsada didn't work.
On November 1st, the Hungarian and Austrian embassies in Pristina held a joint ceremony at the military cemetery in Pec. Hungary's Ambassador Laszlo Markusz, Austria's Gernod Pfandler, Croatia's Ambassador Marija Kapitanovic, Slovenian Ambassador Bojan Bertoncej, Gazmend Syla in the quality of the prime minister's adviser, and Gazmend Mujarni have placed wreaths in the memorial at Peja”, said at the Ambsada announcement issued on November 1st.
Officially, the embassy has not yet given answers.
Naser Rugova now acknowledges there has been no term for a visa, but does not want to provide clarification for his statement.
It, unlike the first statement, has now said there has been a different <x0 most high-level” meeting.
I've had a meeting, I've done my job and I don't have a duty to meet and shape that I've had. I gave my public explanation and we're fine. I'm having a meeting about visas, but also with another meeting of a slightly higher level than visas. We're fine, I don't have a duty to publish. The head of the paramilitary group has been informed and we're clear. You've got your job, I've given my public clarification”, Naser Rugova said to Insider.
But Rugova, on the day of the resolution's failure, had specifically said he has a visa term in Hungary's Ambsad.
“I didn't take part in the vote that I was behind the term at the Hungarian Embassy for visas because I have trips abroad. I've got it right here. I've also notified my colleagues in the group. I was up until 15 minutes before the vote, because I continued in a taxi to the embassy. I wasn't even there to vote” Rugova told Express.
On November 1st of this year, the LDK resolution that would prohibit Thaci from discussing the borders failed.
The big debate was prompted after several LDK and VV deputies had not participated in the session.
Naser Rugova, Anton Quinn, Korab Sejdiu, Fatmire Kolcak were some of the deputies who were not in the hall to vote.
This resolution was not adopted, as only 50 MPs voted in favour.
