Russia's representative had stressed that it fully agrees with the assessments of Serbian diplomacy chief Ivica Dacic, who stressed that serious and deep problems exist in Kosovo seeking immediate solutions.

He also complained about Pristina's decision to raise the tax fee to 10 per cent for goods imported from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Russia also complained about Pristina's plans to transform security forces into the Kosovo Army, as well as added that the Special Court has not yet started working. However, other states like China have said they respect Serbia's territorial integrity and sovereignty.

The representative of the presiding state of the Security Council meeting said Beijing welcomes Belgrade and Pristina's readiness for normalisation of dialogue and calls for reaching the agreement, broadcast news. The ambassador of Great Britain has said they respect UNMIK's importance in stabilising the reports, but emphasises that the situation in Kosovo has changed much in contrast with 20 years ago.

She also called for Kosovo's admission to INTERPOL to the General Assembly, which will begin Sunday. She also stressed that Great Britain supports Belgrade and Pristina in reaching agreements as a result of their dialogue in Brussels.

The US representative to the United Nations has said that now is the time “for both sides to be flexible and to reach compromise”. He added that the US will support the talks in every possible way, as well as “seriously will monitor any stable and constructive agreement on achieving stability for both states. The Netherlands representative has supported the dialogue led in Brussels, but stressed that progress Kosovo has marked must be accepted.

He stressed that the current situation in Kosovo is such that it enables the development of sessions twice a year, given also the report of the secretary-general who has considered limiting the UN mission in Kosovo.

Poland's representative has said her state follows the situation in Kosovo and stressed that the situation is calm. Côte d'Ivoire's representative stressed that it is important to continue dialogue under the direction of the European Union in order to achieve significant progress in reaching the final solution to the Kosovo issue.

France's representative has called for normalising reports between Serbia and Kosovo, welcoming efforts by Federica Moghrin, which has called for both sides to show readiness for compromise.

Equatorial Guinea has appealed for both states to continue dialogue and that possible agreements should be in accordance with international law, and acceptable solution to both sides. Sweden's diplomatic representative stressed that significant steps have been made in normalising reports between Belgrade and Pristina, stressing that the agreement is necessary for normalisation of the entire region.

Ethiopia's ambassador said her state supports Serbia's sovereignty and territorial integrity. She welcomed the dialogue of Belgrade and Pristina under the direction of the European Union. The ambassadors of Bolivia and Peru have called for respecting UN Resolution 1244 in Kosovo. Both countries from South America have praised UNMIK's work.
