Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq, backed by Russia, has made a disgusting offer: Serbia will recognise Kosovo if we give part of the territory. Serbia wants to create a clean ethnic state, robbing people of citizenship and driving them out of their homes. That's a very high price to pay. We will not violate our constitution, give up our sovereignty and destroy our territorial integrity just so Serbia can recognise a fact that already exists. We will also not set dangerous precedents that would destabilise the Balkans and those states fighting for their territorial integrity, such as Israel, Ukraine and India”, Haradinaj wrote, KTV reported.
In addition, Haradinaj writes that the exchange of territories is rejected by 77 % of Kosovo's citizens.
“As the country's prime minister will never accept such trade”, Haradinaj has said.
He has said he supports an agreement with Serbia, which would lead to Kosovo's recognition and its admission to the UN.
