A meeting of the Interministerial Council for Waters, which should be held last week, has been cancelled at the last moment due to a change of agenda by Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj's adviser, Albena Resiti, who is responsible for environmental issues. This change has revolted Switzerland's ambassador to Kosovo, Jean-Hubert Lebet, who has fled the facility where the meeting should be held.
A priority high-level meeting to be held within the prime minister's office has failed as a result of organisational responsibilities. First participants have revolted with a change of agenda in recent moments. They were recently notified of the change in the agenda.
The meeting was scheduled to take place last Thursday and should all members of the Interministerial Council of Waters were present, writes Insander.

The meeting should start at 10:00. But it had failed after the agenda had been changed in recent moments by Prime Minister Albena Resitij's adviser, who is responsible for environmental issues.

The Interministerial Water Council consists of seven permanent members, five of whom have the right to vote. One of them is the Swiss Office for Co-operation, designated as the leader of the water sector among donors, as well as one of the active donors in the water sector, with rotary representation.
