The price of bread and flour has increased in the city of Prizren.
This is confirmed, Shemsi Baldaj, owner of the furnace “Besi”.
It's true that the price of bread for 10 cents has increased from 30 to 40. Similarly, the price of flour and many other products has been increased”, Baldaj said of callo.com.
Also, Shemsie Baldaj said that the price increase has impacted determined measures on products coming from Serbia.
Trade and Industry Minister Andrew Shala proposed to the government cabinet two weeks ago the deployment of a 10 per cent move for some products produced in Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
But that measure rules out international brand products produced in Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, two states that have not yet recognised the state of Kosovo.
Minister Shala himself said a few days ago that he does not believe the price of wheat and its products will increase, even though he acknowledged that the largest import of wheat and flour is made by Serbia.
