Chairman Kadri Veselini's PDK, commenting on the recently raised speculation about the possible resignation of Finance Minister Bedri Hamza, has raised the question: How can a successful minister like Hamza resign?
“We want to have higher salaries in general in Kosovo and stronger and more secure sovereignty. I heard in front of the reporters, did Bedri Hamza resign? How could a successful minister (Hamza) ” resign, Wessel stressed briefly.
Parliament Speaker Kadri Wessel added that stability and integrity themselves depend on businesses.
As long as we have a strong economy, we can also carry this on to the preservation of sovereignty. In the matter of patriarchism, all of us have tried to make a contribution. The biggest priority is economic development. Because we've become media experts and other”, Vessel said.
Declarations header of The PDK held at the meeting today that Minister Hamza has held with representatives of Kosovo's business and economic efforts, where he has informed businesses about the changes of fiscal policies that are happening now, for the new finance ministry initiatives, as well as for listening to the demand of businesses that deal with future changes.
Hamza has said that state institutions are focused on sustainable economic growth, and the bearer of economic development is the private sector.
We expect a 100-year fulfillment of the Income Plan. We're set for reform. There will be no new tariffs or VAT increases in fiscal policies. We've made a decision to release the first product class. We have challenges with high trade deficits. Once again I'm saying there's no new shipments, only releases. Two key laws for the private sector have been passed in the government. Kosovo can only develop when there are powerful businesses. It's a reform that's got ticks, but it's the biggest reform ever since the post-war”, Hamza said.
He has added that Dogana and ATK are in service of businesses for a favourable environment.
We will be at your service with the support of Chairman Kadri Wessel. We know the problems even with unemployment and the trade deficit, but I expect to have progress in the BB” report, Hamza said.
