The Ministry of Innovation becomes alive, funds a project in UP

The Ministry of Innovation and Intervention and University “Hasan Pristina” have signed today Memorandum of Co-operation for the financing of the “complete innovation and entrepreneurship centre at UP”.

The signing of the Memorandum is made by Minister Besim Beqaj and the Rector of Marjan Dema.

In this case, Minister Beqaj has declared that this Centre will serve in linking science and knowledge to the economy and will serve professors, students and youth who need professional training.

From the establishment of the Ministry, our goal has been to have the university become a centre for inovacon and entrepreneurship, which would enable students and professors to work with the economy, where professors and students will have access to private sector problems”, Beqaj stressed.

He has also said that the ministry of innovation and entrepreneurship under the deal will finance about 800 thousand euros of overhauling and equipment of the Centre for Innovation and Intervention, located in the spaces of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.

While Rector Marjan Dema has talked about the importance of the Centre for University under the reforms under way.

The “Centre will be a bridge that will provide various training, connecting young people's knowledge to business. It will serve to create innovative and creative students. We are interested in making that transformation of the student, so that he doesn't expect work from the government, but by himself”, Dema said.

The memorandum for the “innovation and entrepreneurship project at UP” is worth about 800 thousand euros, those shared by the Ministry of Innovation and Intervention for the purpose of overhauling and equipment of space destined for this Center at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.
