The chief of the Democratic Party of Kosovo parliamentary group, Memli Krasniqi, has called the opposition parties' request for new elections unsurpassed.
He has said that as for this opposition the ruling coalition will carry the mandate to the end.
In this interview given to the newspaper “The new era”, Krasniqi has estimated that the demand for elections has more to do with problems within opposition parties.
However, he has suggested that neither the opposition boycott in the Assembly will reflect on the functioning of the ruling coalition because, according to Krasniqi, the government is doing its job and has stability.
He has said it is of extreme political responsibility that any opposition MP or opposition party abstain from or refuse to participate in issues related to the final phase of dialogue with Serbia, European integration, implementation of the SAA, visa liberalisation and the founding of the military.
