Its establishment was considered weighty for Kosovo's economic development, and at the event of the participating inauguration, the current foreign minister, Behgjet Pacolli, himself.
But, five years after another Swiss Chamber of Commerce, Kosovo opened at the initiative of Kosovo Consulate in Zurich.
Moreover, the board of directors is itself consul Islam Spahija.
The director of the Swiss-Kosovo Chamber of Economics Stefan Sarcany, who has reacted to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has remained surprised.
In a letter addressed to Minister Behgjet Pacolli, which KTV has secured, Sarcany stresses that this is not for the benefit of Kosovo.
We are very surprised that a diplomat official can participate in the private infrastructure of the Swiss economy. Of course, it is a conflict of interest, and in some cases it may be interpreted as internal trade. We are surprised that the consul of Kosovo in Cyril has undertaken such maneuvers knowing that this will cause uncertainty, which is not for the benefit of Kosovo, but not politically, but not particularly economically”, said Stefan Sarkany, president of Switzerland's Economic Ode, Kosovo.
KTV asked. MPJs how it is possible for the leader of the Consulate in Switzerland to be part of this Economic Ode, but the Media Office has not returned answers, even though the questions were sent a week ago.
While the Islamic Consul Spahija has told television that he is only the initiative and will help Oda only until the selection of its structures.
“I am clean and I don't get wages, I have no interest, in any case if asked for by the ministry I retire, but these initiatives are rare and are to help Kosovo's economic aid”, he has said.
Initiator for forming this Ode is also National Adviser from the ranks of SVP Hans Eglonff, while its director has been elected businessman Musa Komani.
