CIA Director Gina Haspel, during his visit to Turkey, has heard audio recording of Saudi journalist Jalam Khashogi, broadcasting Reuters, referring to two sources.
CIA representatives and the Turkish intelligence service refused to comment on Haspel's assessment of the tape, the British media report.
Saudi Arabia, after two weeks of denial, acknowledged last Saturday that Washington Post journalist had been killed inside the consulate.
British media and Al Jazeera recently reported that Khasoggi's massacred body has been found at a well in the garden of Saudi Consulate in Istanbul.
