Average salary in Slovenia is 1.082 euros

The average net monthly salary in Slovenia reached 1.082,88 euros in August, while the gross wage reached 1,69.51 euros, the Slovenian statistical office reported today.

Compared to July, the average net wage in August rose by 0.9 percent in real terms and by 1,0 percent in nominal terms, reports Slovenian STA.

The average net salary in the private sector increased by 1.7% on a monthly basis and in the public sector by 0.1%.

In August, the highest average salary was in central Slovenia and southeast of the country.
