Over the years, the National Audition Office has now recorded problems in the control and proper management of this ministry's subsidies on Social Assistance schemes, KTV reports.
Until recently, as recorded in the 2011 report, the ministry's non-co-operation with other institutions has resulted in budget losses.
Despite the ministry now having co-operation with other institutions, large amounts of financial means continue to be distributed by mistake.
2017, at the War Witnesses and Invaled Families Department, 82 cases of beneficiaries from more than one category within the same scheme were recorded, for which the value of financial error amounted to 179,000 euros.
KTV has been waiting for several days from the ministry to receive answers to these issues, but initially, its officials have preferred that the same issues arise at the government's latest meeting before they provide answers.
They have downplayed the findings of the National Audition Office report, in particular for pension payments for the deceased, which last year, according to the report, the amount of financial error totaled over 100,000 euros.
