Turkish Army Kills 260 Kurdish, Islamic State Members

At least 260 Kurdish militants and members of the Islamic state are “neutrified” since the start of the “Operation OliveR” in Syria, the Turkish General Staff has declared on Tuesday 23 January. Through a statement, the Turkish Army has said that the operation is under the legal acts of the United Nations, or Article 51. to respect Syria's territorial integrity statute, state agency “Anadolu” announced.
Military operation has targeted terrorists' shelters, positions, weapons and military equipment. Preliminary measures have been taken to prevent the destruction of civilians and innocents in the operation.
The Turkish agency also reported that the number of Turkish victims rose to three after a soldier was killed during clashes with militants during the operation. A soldier, however, has been wounded during the clashes.
