Referring to what happened on December 22nd, where 43 deputies signed an initiative to abolish the Special Court, O'Connell said it was the most dangerous initiative for Kosovo.
According to him, internationals have helped Kosovo in the most difficult times, so it says their interest is that the state of Kosovo is internationally integrated.
The “occurred several times when at holidaytime, some individuals have attempted to smuggle their ideas and efforts. It's strange how without warning we smuggle and try to make that decision to abolish the Special. It is very harmful to Kosovo. We have been with Kosovo in the most difficult times. We have an interest in the Kosovo state being internationally integrated. Attempts to abolish speciality have jeopardised what Kosovo has achieved so far”, OʹConnell has said in Info Magazine of Kosovo.
He also talks about further reports with Kosovo leaders and shows whether he has lost faith with them.
“I hope we can trust the Kosovo leaders when they say they want to store the reports with the international”, O'Connell said away./Periscopi
