Fadil Nura, the secretary of the Democratic Party of Kosovo in Skenderaj, has said the former vice president of this branch, Bekim Haxhiu, was dismissed from this position because he worked against his own decision and the party's decision to elect the leader of the Sculajan Assembly.
According to Nura, who has been invited to “Interactiv” of KTV, this has been the Council General's decision, which is the highest body of PDK.
He has rejected the party's decision and its own because he has somehow voted for that decision to support Ismet Salihu at the head of the Municipal Assembly. He has lobbied against, and in the background has co-ordinated positions with opposition parties to elect Fatbarqa Halili at the helm of the Municipal Assembly”, Nura has said.
Asked if he was accusing him of betraying the party, Nura has said that “quaalify him as you wish, but it's really playing”.
He has said that Haxhiu remains a member of the Branch Headship, while showing that Nuredin Lushtaku is determined to be deputy head of the Skenderaj branch.
