Paris Political Science Lawmaker Nezir Kraki has criticised two Kosovo films that were shown on Paris screens. He has said that these films have cooked him for poor quality, inconsistencies, and the language éberdhogʹ as he puts it.

Periscopi brings him his opinion on these films, taken from his personal Facebook profile, which sparked serious controversy among Kosovo filmmakers.

This is his post:

This Albanian film moment in the German Franco Channel. Visar Morine's film “
I'm glad a Kosovo movie shows up in Arte, but I have a few notes:

1. The film in Albanian means, with the titra in French, but translation/exploitation seems to have been done with the French dictionary, not the meaning, but the word. School's called ad litram, not ad sense. That's a little note.

2. Clubs usually found in our movies. Like. There's a scene in the movie at 10th minute where the family, about a table eating lunch or dinner sitting on the floor. Okay, it's about years of Serbian occupation and the situation can be understood, but at least we have a round table, even then. Anyway, it's my problem elsewhere. As they are eating bread, suddenly there is a cry, and, exactly one meter next to them, the owner of the house appears beating his son brutally with a belt. The reason? The father thinks his son was “-year-old” rifle. Wow.
I don't know that such a scene happens in Albanian families where the other brutalizes in the presence of children.

The film's going on with other degrees of noncompliance that even the Hollywood imagination would not accept.

Anyway, I'm just stopping here because I'm not a movie critic or a cinematist, but mediocrity is easy to tell without being a field expert.

I don't prejudge the work of the director I don't know, but it would be good for art people to read books, to be informed, to document the events they show, simply... to be directors and intellectually not only technically.

A few days ago, another movie appeared in Paris. Film “It's also” that will represent Kosovo in Oscar. That was a movie. ULTRA clité, empty out of every sense, with dim and inaccurate, prejudiced against Albanians and Serbs, with all that a movie sʹdo should show. This is where the director had put Albanian women's rapes on the same tragic level by Serb ethnics with our customary (old) rules. She had gone so far as the son of the raped woman in the war (that child from rape) met and fell in love with her own daughter of rapeers, in Holland where both sides had migrated. This totally unimaginable event (zero probability) takes place in a movie parallel to the story of how the Rape's father had expelled her from home by not leaving her in her mother's lamentation, dead 18-20 years after the war.
I can't even speak about dialogue: language neither gay nor toast, mother tongue, poor without a tail...

One advice: When you do those movies, don't tell them. Enjoy your salon. Don't fry us in Paris and in Breerlin allahil!

Anyway...

No, illegal film critic”
