In the presence of police forces, they forcedly destroyed the symbol of the Turkish flag, which had been deployed for several days on the hydropower dam.
Citizens and historians have considered it an unprecedented act to establish this symbol in ethnic Mirsday, as they consider it.
At the end of the protest, police detained several people, while many others received IDs, as actions taken by blues constitute criminal acts.
The Turkish flag's symbol in the Qafe-Mola hydropower dam in Mirdit was set up by the Turkish firm that has built this energy work.
