Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Enver Hoxhaj has strongly condemned the murder of Serbian politician Oliver Ivanovic, who took place today in northern Mitrovica.
Hoxhaj has made it known that justice bodies are dealing with the emergency case to bring to justice as soon as possible those responsible for this criminal act, in order to avoid any political manipulation that may be done in the case. Deputy Prime Minister Hoxhaj has said impulsive and destructive reactions on the part of authorities in Serbia are openly threatening to destabilise the situation and disrupt the normalisation process.
While the motives and authors of the assassination are still unknown, it is distressing to see such impulsive and destructive reactions on the part of authorities in Serbia, who are openly threatening to destabilise the situation and disrupting the normalisation process”, Hoxhaj wrote.
