Two creators respond to the logo of the 10th anniversary of independence, since it was said to be stolen

The two authors of the logo of the 10th anniversary of Kosovo's independence, Arber Racaj and Egzon Chaka, have come up with a public reaction about the logo, which was rumoured to be copied by a German company. They have said that the form of hand opening has not been invented in Germany or Kosovo, [...]
They have said that the form of the opening of hands, not in Germany or Kosovo, is not considered plagiarism or copies.
Their reaction:
We, creators of the 10th anniversary of Kosovo's independence logo, Arber Racaj and Egzon Chaka, winner of the public competition for drafting the 10th anniversary of Kosovo's independence, today we were unjustly attacked by our alleged logos created by us was plagiarism.
Taking this biased approach with concern, without being asked by anyone, we are also “-declared” by most local media and as copyists of a German company logo.
Despite the similarity in visual expression, no graphic element, access or even the way execution is the same between these two logos.
The hand opening form, the only random similarity, which in our case connects with 10 fingers the 10th anniversary of citizenship, has not been invented in either Kosovo or Germany, nor is it patented by anyone and the abstract shape of fingers itself explains that we've wanted to convey the most festive message of this year's Jubilar.
The positioning of the trend or this coincidence wouldn't be that of us and we believe in no designers, as if it were copied.
We are proud that the inspiration and argumentation of this visual solution, nothing further than yesterday, was published in the media by state officials themselves, and that confirms our authentic approach to creating this logo.
Since we have not yet been compensated by the Organising Council for the footnote of the 10th anniversary of independence, although yesterday in the media reading the open public competition on the part of the journalist, in the absence of information it meant that we were paid, because of the importance of this jubilee year for our state, we leave the organisational Council with the final decision to answer the unfair concerns raised.
As the creator of this logo, we feel the moral and professional obligation to witness to all citizens the authenticity of our work. So, hoping in your understanding, the evidence of our work through which we have come to the final version of the logo, we are sending to you.
Thank you for your honesty and understanding.
With respect,
Arber Racaj and Egzon Chaka, creator of the 10th anniversary logo of Kosovo independence
