African Kurds demand Syria to protect from Turkey

Turkey-led forces launched their attacks on northwest Syria on Saturday. Ankara considers Kurdish fighters the YPG in Africa as terrorists and says they are linked to Kurdish PKK guerrillas operating in Turkey.
48 rebels supported by Turkey and 42 YPG fighters have been killed during the fighting since Saturday, says the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a monitoring group in the United Kingdom.
