Prizren's presidential candidate for the Kosovo Initiative, Zafir Berisha, has spoken about the offer being made by the Democratic League of Kosovo and by Vetevendosje, to join them in the event of elimination from the race due to the CEC's decision.
Berisha has told Gazeta Blic that he still counts himself in the race.
“I still count myself in the race, I just filed a complaint in PZAP about the CEC's political decision, and influenced by Clan Proto”, Berisha said.
He further told about the steps he would take following the CEC's decision.
When he gets all legal opportunities, I'll start thinking about the plan B”, he said.
While during yesterday, the CEC has made a decision to decertify several candidates for mayor and several assemblies, including deputy Berisha.
Berisha has a sentence of 140 euros due to the illegally locked power.
Following this CEC decision, the LDK candidate for mayor of Prizren, Hatim Bajzak has made public invitation to Berisha to join in local elections
