In 2014, police in Germany told of a chase against two brothers who were said to be behind the pages of online Movie4K and KinoX films. In an unusual way, authorities said the couple were violent and likely armed, which rarely occurs among pirates of online pages. It has now become known that one of the brothers has surrendered to the German Embassy in Kosovo...
June 2011, police across Europe launched the largest anti-piracy operation the region has ever seen. Their goal was online film portal Kino. to others connected in Spain, France, and the Netherlands.
With the fact that the pages are now very soon created, even for Kino.to was found to be a replacement immediately.
The replaced platform, KinoX, soon found numerous fans, and with this, the immediate attention of police authorities. October 2014, German investigators, at the order of the General Prosecutor, launched raids on several regions of the country looking for key suspects, reports <x0).
A raid, focused on a village near the northern city of Lübeck, had a goal of two brothers, aged 21, and 25. The couple, who were said to live with their parents, were allegedly the leading operatives of Kinox. to and another big video page, the Movie4K.to. Although two others were arrested somewhere in Germany, the brothers were not found.
It turned out that following the two brothers would not be easy. In addition to accusing brothers of copyright violations and tax evasion, authorities suggested that they are also wanted for fraud, extortion and intentional arson. It was also said that they had been targeting a car owned by a pirated contestant, making it “as a whole”, broadcasting Koha.net.
The brothers later became known as Kastriot and Kreshnik Selimi. Born in 1992, 21 - year - old Kreshnik was born in Sweden. While Kastriot, 25, was born in Kosovo in 1989, and along with his brother, later became German citizens.
While authorities were listing the charges, the couple were accused of being behind not only KinoX and Movie4K, but other platforms for storage and distribution of BitShare data, Stream4k.to, Shared.sx, Mylty.com and Boerse.sx.
Now, almost three years later, German police are one step closer to catching their wanted man. According to a report by “Handelsblat” through Tarnkappe, Kreshnik Selimi has been banned by authorities.
Now 24, Kressnik is said to have surrendered to the German Embassy in Pristina. The location of the arrest is far from surprising. His oldest brother, Kastriot, had earlier published a photo in Instagram featuring a ticket with his name, which for his destination had Kosovo from Zurich, Switzerland.
But as Kreshnik's arrest reportedly occurred in July, no news of Kastriot remains. The oldest brother is still on the run, perhaps in Kosovo, or so far may have fled anywhere in the world, broadcast Koha.net.
And while its location remains a mystery, the next enigma facing German authorities is the status of two countries potentially maintained by brothers.
Despite all the drama and unprecedented assumptions of violence and other serious offenses, the two pages, the Movie4K and the KinoX, remain still online, perhaps without the awareness of others.
However, there have been consequences for people associated with them later.
December 2015, Arvit O (known as “Pedro”), which offered technical support to Knox, was sentenced to 40 months in prison for involvement on the site.
Arvit O, who made a half confession, was found guilty of human rights violations by the District Court in Leipzig.
