Ahessan 30, comes from the state of Rakhine of Myanmar, which he issued last week.
My name is Ahessan, 30 years old. Before the military attacks took place, I was a farmer in my village of Chin Khali, but I taught English to children after I finished the job, so I was a very busy man, said “Al Jazeera”, broadcast Periscopi.
On the morning of August 25, I was making breakfast with my family when the army entered the village and began shooting at us. They shot indiscriminately at civilians where five members of my family were left dead.
I found my mother lying on the floor with bullet wounds on her back, and my sister lay near with knife wounds on her face and body. It was the most disturbing scene I have seen, but I had no time to be sad because I was afraid that the army would shoot me too.
A soldier tried to rape my sister, she resisted, but they beat her. She's so traumatic she hasn't spoken a word since, and she can barely move brother and I carry her here in Bangladesh with a bamboo and a blanket.
We saw a lot of terrible things on the way to Bangladesh there were dead bodies, kids crying and old people starving. When we reached the border, there were over a thousand more Roingyas trying to cross the river we eventually found a ship that took us to Bangladesh.
Our life in Bangladesh is very miserable. We don't have adequate housing, no sewers, and no room to sleep.
I believe the whole world is helping and supporting us, and for this I am very grateful to them. But I want the world to settle on our shoes. We're people like them./Periscopi/
