Macedonia yesterday hosted the two European giants for the match of the European Supercup, Real Madrid and Manchester United. It was a historic day for the State and the fans who were present in the stadium as never before. But prior to the match there was an element of discrimination for Macedonian Albanians.

Macedonian waves, Macedonian people's cultural and old clothing in the country, the state-run red flag and traditional Macedonian music last night were introduced before 30,000 fans at Telekom Arena Stadium in Skopje. Also, through screens this hidden reality of organisers was introduced to more than 1 billion viewers from around the world, writes Telegram Macedonia. Albanians appeared discriminated against before the world.

The government of the Republic of Macedonia has not been part of the UEFA's Supercup artistic concept. The artistic idea was made by the past government and the Macedonian Football Federation (FFM) as organiser. The new government has technically supported the organisation of Europe's Supercup. We regret that the FFM as an organiser has taken no note of the multiethnic concept of our state” says Mile Bosnjakovski, the spokesman.

Otherwise, Telegrafi Macedonia has also contacted Albanian Deputy Chairman of the FFM Muhamed Sejdiuni, who has said the declaration will be issued when she is familiar with the Telegrafi staff in Macedonia. /Telegraphy/
