The three main state positions (Pressisidence, Government and Parliament) for the first time since the post-war will likely fall to former political and military elites of the Kosovo Liberation Army (UÇK) this year.
Former KLA political leader Hashim Thaci has been elected president of the Republic of Kosovo for more than a year, while given the June 11th election outcome, the post of chief parliament belongs to the coalition. PAN and the most likely are for the head of the country to be re-used in this position PDK, Kadri Wessel, who has also been senior superior to KLA during the 1998-99 war, writes Voice.
Even former Dukagjin Operative Zone Commander Ramush Haradinaj is dominated by the coalition PAN for prime minister. The leaders of this coalition are constantly repeating that they have secured the votes needed for forming the government, and Haradinaj will be Kosovo's new prime minister.
Since the end of the war in the country, the three main state positions have never been headed by former KLA leaders.
The union of “Krah of the war” in the pre-election coalition for the June 11th 2017 elections by political analysts in Kosovo was commented as “medit” due to the Special Court, which since this week is fully functional and could set up the first charges.
