At that, analysts in the country say MPs charged with criminal responsibility should not be protected from immunity. Criminal law expert Besa Arifi says that immunity protects the MP only when he expresses his opinion in the speaker but not even outside the Assembly.
Meanwhile, analyst Ismet Ramadani stresses that the Commission for Immunity Issues near the Parliament, MPs suspected of Special Prosecutors, could lift their immunity and thus pave the way for justice organs.
