After almost a month of connecting the pre-election coalitions, AKR chairman Behgjet Pacolli in an interview for KTV's Rubik has disclosed details from talks he had with Vetevendosje Movement before the pre-election coalitions.
Pacolli feared that a union of votes with LVV would not have growth and would not be a coalition victory. So the AKR went with LDK, though it did not result in victory.
A national union if targeted on both sides should become very gradual. We've had some evidence here. Neither does Vetevendosje rule out dialogue and co-operation with internationals, but it has a completely different form, we have much more transparent and much more social. We know that problems yoke in two forms, or violence or dialogue. We prefer dialogue and we will never stop dialogue. With another dialogue, do not treat dialogue as public consumption. We saw here that we could have differences, but that wasn't the reason for no partnership. It's been a confusing dilemma on our part. That a coalition with LV would not be a winner. We've humiliated them and ourselves”, Pacolli said.
I told you that AKR with LVV is not going out first and I said that with LDK we can get out first. We never discussed that with the other side we could make a coalition”, he added further.
