The deputy head of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Hajredin Kuci, in the 2001, 2004 parliamentary elections, 2007, 2010, 2014 had been elected Kosovo Assembly MP in the five legislatures, while, in early elections on June 11th for the sixth Kucci legislature, he failed to become a deputy because he received only 7,986 votes, which were not enough to elect the MP.
Kuci in the 2014 parliamentary elections had secured 17,980 votes, and in 2010, Hajredin Red had secured 16,836.
Kuci in several legislatures was minister and deputy prime minister in the Kosovo government.
